finally completed all my CNY shopping over the 2 weekends. shoes, tops, dresses, bags, lots of undergarments. it's been a loooong while since i spent so much!! haha. darling was the sweetest to accompany me around..and paying for me too. =p OPPS! LOL. and he didn't buy a single thing throughout the 2 weekends! how can this be when his girlfriend shopped so much lol. but still, thanks baby for accompanying me and waitin for me while i was taking forever in the changing room! :)

so, left with my hair and nails. went to do my hair at WCP just now..colored it dark purple. now, that's a change!! 1st time trying it, and i love it!! hehe! the guy says the color may fade to dark brown after awhile though..shall see how it goes. but at least, it will not be damn obvious and ugly when my black roots grow out!

hair done, now for nails. was thinking of doing gel nails again, but i'm getting a little irritated with the length of my nails. i can't type properly with long nails! OMG. so, i've decided to stop gel nails for now..dun think it's healthy to be having gel all the time too. going to remove the gel, then shall trim my nails and do the painting myself!! it's time to say hello to my nail polish again hees!!

work had been very free, 1 to 2 cases a day. partly because i am still so new and barely knowing anything. according to them, it takes about 6 months before you can work by yourself comfortably. that's very long but no joke! damn alot of things to learn!! and everything's super systematic and technical and sound totally alien. oh dear..very not me. HHMMMMMZZZZZZ. LOL.

taiwan trip still not up. OPPS!! but i've sorted out the photos and collage them!! looking at the photos, i really feel like going on a trip again. darlinnnng..you wanna bring me out???? HEHE!!!

today's my 1st day of work at the above mentioned company. excitement and anxiousness filled me as i went to the new work place. seriously, after working at canon for 3 years, i was anticipating yet feeling quite scared to be going to a new company! it's like a primary 6 going secondary 1. LOL.

and it turned out, things were pretty OK! there is a new girl whose 1st day is today too! so i had an instant friend. plus, i've got an ex-classmate working in the same team. so, it wasn't so bad! plus plus, people are generally nice and friendly. :) HOWEVER. there seem to be looooooots of things to learn. and being a IT retard, i sense some difficulty already! OMG. let's hope i can absorb all the stuffs!!

today was a totally slack day. walked around the office, did some test, attend some talks, read some notes. time to go, tada! haha. but i forsee such slacking will only last for a few days yeah? lol. met darling after work for dinner. so happy to see him after my 1st day of work!! wanna share everything with him..he'll always listen to me patiently when i blabber nonstop and never cuts me through my conversation. i always cut into his conversation lol..i can't help it! i NEED to say something when it comes to my mind..if not i will forget. lol!!! aiyah. he's just so sweeeeet. :)

hoping everyday to be a better day!!

yesterday marked my last day in canon. as i've mentioned to some colleagues, i will not miss the job, but i'll definitely miss the people! making my rounds and saying goodbye to everyone personally..and i realised...

saying goodbye had never been so hard.....

especially to the colleagues i've been working side-by-side with.

treated most of them to KOI. these 6 cups are for the CSC people! hees.

with the "below 30" group LOL..peiling, josephine and felicia. these sweetest girls got me a hello kitty notebook and pen hees. will use them to take notes when i go to the new company. :) i will be missing them so much!! especially peiling. she's much more than just a colleague.

next, with the "above 30" LOL. terence, chuanlong and yoke. they are the people who brought me into the company, taught me all the things, and saw me grow. i am so fortunate to have such nice people as my seniors yeah..thank you all for everything. :) chuanlong and terence treated us to marche the day before! so lovely of them hor..hees.

met darling after work..he treated me to a good meal at brotzeit to celebrate my last day! haha. thank you baby. :) :) i was having a relatively good hair day too! hahaha. and resort world is finally up. there's victoria secret!! gosh..feel like going there to buy bras for new year hahas.

rest for 3 days, then back to work on monday. new environment, new job scope, new colleagues. excited about the challenge, the change and the chance to learn new things, anxious about the colleagues and stress. hopefully things will be great!

this week, i finally submitted the last 2 projects. woohoo!!!!! now i can really say byebye to all my books and studying..haha. thanks baby, for your support and helping me to do part of it hehes! you are so lovely..muack!!

met weixi and shufen some other day..and brought a dog out. haha. dog cafes are like soooo limited in singapore, and almost all are so far away from us! so, weixi and i were walking along holland village, looking for some cafes / restaurants that will accept us and the doggie named minnie. and, ALL REJECT. some even give us the most bewildered look when all i asked was "are dogs allowed? we dun mind sitting OUTDOORS." wtf. what's so scary or alarming about a small and harmless and cuteee dog?! hello..dogs are less destructive than some children ok. grrr.

and so, we were damn hot and sweaty and sticky and about to give up, when essential brews gave us the nod! outdoors though. but definitely good enough. :) shufen is so smart..come only after we sweat our armpits out. haha!

minnie's really cute and small!! a 4 months old maltese. and it loves to sleep on me. it found its way in between my legs and looked so contented!! lol. this drew comments like "mother dog" and "soft pillow" from my dear friends. in short, calling me a fat bitch. THANK YOU huh. lol!

an overall collage i did on my taiwan trip. i miss the place and the girls!! gosh..feel like going on a trip again.

tomorrow is saturday and i feel so good!! left with 4 more days at my job and i feel even better lol. it FINALLY felt like a new year. done with my studies, new challenge coming soon. i am feeling so happy and excited! quality time with the boyfriend tomorrow hees. =D

back from taiwan and i am not feeling happy. :( rushing out for my project dued in a few days and totally untouched, life is back to the monotonous routine, no more good weather, no more being with baby and friends and having fun everyday. POUT.

good thing is, moving into a new year, new things to look forward to (hopefully)!! and i am quite excited with the start of a new job..wanna do my best and not be so nua and unmotivated anymore! yeah!

taiwan had been good to me. love the cooling weather, bought lots of hello kitty and shoes, some accessories. no clothes cos all are winter clothings. the guys kept singing "cai shen dao" whenever we near a sanrio shop..cos i will definitely go in and spend some money hahaha. so irritating but quite cute la. :) darling didn't enjoy as much as he planned to though..can see that he was quite disappointed. didn't get to eat all the goodies, didn't get to see the scenic views in jiufen and danshui cos it rained only on that particular day! what bad luck..boo. anyway i think danshui is totally overrated..shall talk about it another day. and, baby only bought a polo tee and bag on the whole trip. the other 2 guys bought NOTHING. so yeah, taiwan is a shopping heaven for girls only. especially for girls who love sanrio! HEHEHE.

i managed to do the main 3 things i wanted to in taiwan - hotspring, bullet train and hello kitty cafe. hello kitty cafe was great!! but still not as good as japan's sanrioland. all in all, i am a happy girl. thanks darling, for making all these happen. :)

on christmas day, at the strike of 12, my dearest girlfriend got the surprise of her life as her friends started appearing behind the bushes when they are suppose to be in the KTV room, flash lights blinking from all directions, and her boyfriend got down on his knees and asked for her hand.

my 1st close friend to be engaged!! and jingyang is so sweet. i am feeling sooo happy for you..so sure that you will be in good hands. congrats shufen!! =D

more on that later!! let me blog in sequence yeah haha.

the night started at chevron. the 4 of us were early and hence, we started taking pictures 1st!! haha. at the lobby waiting for the others! shufen bought christmas hats for all of us!! i think darling looks soo cute with christmas hats cos the hats are always too small for his big head hahaha. but he's still very sporting to put them on. i love you for being like this!! hees.

finally everyone reached and we got into the KTV room. however, no one was in the mood for singing that day, not even me haha. i was too excited and high!! haha. cam-whoring with the girls!

more!! everyone looked so pretty for the special night. shufen was dressed prettily even though she didn't know what was going on. thank god she's such a bimbo and is always nicely dressed wahaha!

with my own sweet sweet boyfriend!! for helping out though he was quite clueless haha. i think i left him out the whole night. OPPS!! but he was still so lovely, running around with us crazily haha. credits to him for taking a brilliant video with his non-shaky hands!! if it's me, sure shake like mad one. lol! i love you baby!!

ok, so we sing and take pictures for awhile, and jingyang brought shufen out for a walk. that's when we started rushing like mad! went to the car to take the barang and placing them nicely, then hiding somewhere to video and surprise them. changed the hiding place a few times cos there was no proper place to hide?! and when we were finally comfortably hiding, news got to us that they were coming from BEHIND where we were hiding! wtf!!!!!!!! so we half squat and run to another place. i nearly fell flat on my butt..luckily someone (to date, i still dunno who!! too flustered hahaha but thank you whoever you are!!) hold onto me and i was wearing flats haha. dear weixi wasn't so lucky though..she fell down and there was a huge bruise on her knees!!! omg it looks blardy painful..so poor thing. but she was super garang to hold on to the last minute..only when everything ended then she let us know she was hurt. if it's me i think i already whine and tear man haha. you are the bravest babe!!

and everything was set. we spring out when jingyang passed her the box. look at shufen's surprised look at the bottom picture..and her super shocked yet happy looks in the subsequent pictures lol.

the proposal was done, and of course she said yes! such blissfulness. :)

after all the excitement, we went back to the KTV room. but no one was in any mood to sing haha. we took polaroids, exchanged presents, and jingyang got quite drunk. lol!

the night is still young! so we moved on and went over to mandarin oriental to meet darling's friends. they got a room for the celebration. but by the time we reached, hanged out for awhile and everyone was pretty tired and preparing to rest already..boo. both of us were still feeling ok, hence we decided to go home instead of squeezing in the room. with the pretty tree in the main lobby!

our christmas celebration was a pretty tiring and hectic one this year!! haha. very fulfiling and memorable though. :) coming up next is new year!! i am really excited about that, cos i will be in taiwan! hehehe.

this is probably my last post for the year 2009. hence, an early happy new year to everyone!! new year, new goals, new hopes. i won't be making resolutions as i dun stick to them eventually lol. just hoping for a good and smooth year, and my closest family and friends around me to be safe, healthy and happy. :)

went for the Mango VIP sales the other day..it was such a blessing to be able to choose clothings in peace and not having to squeeze and they have all the sizes. thanks for the invite cheryl! :) anyway, i bought some clothes and this really chio winter jacket for my taiwan trip! it was like, half-price?? WHEE!!! it's white with cute buttons..the whole thing is just so nice. *sigh* and i read that the weather is like 12 degrees..woohoo!! i think it will just get colder when i get there and i can put my jacket to super good use!! *rubs hands in glee*

finally 90% settled on the itenary. will be going to the hello kitty restaurant! YESS!! that's like one of the major highlight for me. wahaha!! aiyah, just can't wait for next wednesday to come hehehe.

is the number of pimples i have on my face right now. i am freaking sad. i've never got so many pimples before! all thanks to my bloody period. fuck. damn screwed up.

although everyone says my pimples are really small and will go away quickly and it's not obvious and blah blah blah, i am just damn upset la. i touch my face, and i know everything is NOT ok. so dun tell me it's ok!

everything is not good. hopefully, something good will happen tomorrow.

i hate it when people compare.

compare about their pay, compare about their boyfriends, compare about where they hold their wedding dinners, compare about their grades, compare about the carat of their proposal rings (OMG! this is the WORST), compare about their clothes and bags and whatever, compare everything you can find on earth.

i really hate it. why must compare such things? is it really that important? so if you get a super big diamond ring for proposal, does it guarantee that you will be happy forever? NO RIGHT.

it's a very thin line between SHARING and COMPARING. sharing is sweet, comparing is disgusting. i am soooo glad that my closest girlfriends are not the compare kind. if not huh, i won't know how to hold a proper conversation with them.

the grass is always green on the other side. the rich and lonely man envies the happy family, the poor and happy family envy the rich man. you see the good side of other people all the time, but you may not see the down. everything just goes round and round.

it just so happen at at this age of mine, some women are discussing about the above mentioned and i get highly disgusted when they start comparing and showing off. not that i am sour or what alright. i am perfectly happy with my life (except for work on and off LOL)..i just dun see why you need to COMPARE certain stuffs.

in short, be grateful and thankful for what you have. learn to appreciate, and life can be better. stop comparing already!!!
