quick update that is..lol.

just came back from phuture..baby's good friend, sze ruey's birthday today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! if you ever read it..haha. really cool to have 3 birthdays within a week. as usual, the birthday boy was badly abused and puked as and when he felt like it..i think he left traces of his puke all around our table..haha. dear got quite high too..but i was perfectly sober. didn't drink much, cos......

i'm sick. like yes, AGAIN. and i fell sick on my birthday! VERY NICE. was having fever but got better after a sleep, now i'm having a super blocked nose and raw throat. sighs..but i still went to work for this whole week! cos i want to learn to be more responsible at the age of 24. *claps* haha.

impromptu dinner date with shufen and weixi on wed. were discussing some issues which are quite depressing, but nontheless, happy to meet them. both of you, take care of yourselves and remember to date me out more often!

colleagues got me a very pretty fossil watch for my birthday. very big thank you to peiling, alan, terence and han! the present is very unexpected..hope it's not too expensive! i love it very much and it really, really made my day. :) and also, thank you my dear friends, for remembering my birthday and smsing me your wishes. appreciated!

simple dinner with the boyfriend at night..shopped a little but nothing caught my eye. but his company is all that matters. :)

finally booked the tickets to batam. we're leaving on a ferry tomorrow! or rather, 9 hours later..haha. hope the weather will be kind to us and not keep raining. 3 full days of being together, what more can i ask for? even if it rains, we can just cuddle up and PSP our day away..i just want him to be beside me, that's all.

and now, i can tell people that my boyfriend is one year older than me. cos he's 24, while i'm still 23! hahaha.

yesterday, we had a typical movie-dinner-drinks date. but before that, we went to get a new toy. our chio chio red PSP! we managed to chance upon a shop which sell the PSP at a cheaper rate than my mummy's supplier..casing, usb cable and memory card inclusive. so baby knew that i wanted to play so badly and was so looking forward to it ever since my mummy mentioned buying for me, hence he specially brought me over to buy..and even let me bring it home! he's so selfless and i felt so loved and pampered. =D thank you darling! anyways the uncle as well as the supplier mentioned that the next batch of PSP will not be able to do modification, which means that you cannot download games online. so peeps who wanna get the modified PSP, quickly go grab it now!

our new source of entertainment..haha. i'm hooked on bomberman. very childish i know, but it thrills me alot!

after purchasing it, we proceeded to town. caught death race..an action-pact movie throughout. different kind of racing show..nice! and the female lead is damn hot..boobs and ass and legs. wooo..shiok. wahaha!

brought dearie to his birthday dinner at black angus. he had always wanted to try more expensive steak in a steak-specialise restaurant. so, black angus it is! i made a reservation and requested for a cosy corner, and indeed we got a nice corner and big seat! we ordered buffalo chicken as appetizer, he had ribeye steak and i had salmon. the chicken is very tasty, baby said his steak is good, but i thought my salmon is a little too dry. the servings are quite big and we ate till suppper full. the bill came up to $100+ but i felt that it was worth it. it was a good experience, the service is warm and friendly, and most importantly..my boyfriend enjoyed it. :)

i think i look drunk in here..lol. but i'm not..it's just the lighting and position i'm in..the seats are too comfortable and i'm too full la. haha.

met his friends after dinner, and went over to alley bar for some drinks. chatted till 12am, then it's HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! baby was lucky to not get drunk nor get bashed. 1. cos he's driving..it's a very good excuse! lol. 2. his friends' birthdays are round the corner, and they simply do not wish to offend him cos he's bigger sized and they know they will get it from him if they bash him! hahaha. went home quite early, cos some have school and work the next day, and i've got project meeting. :(

nearly couldn't drag myself up this morning..i need more sleep please! luckily project meeting was quite fast and efficient, and we went off earlier than expected. went over to darling's place and wished him HAPPY BIRTHDAY again! lol. i think i said at least 10 happy birthdays to him in the last 24 hours. played mahjong with his aunty and mummy, and the birthday boy is the big winner of the day. thing to note : do not play mahjong with the birthday star. haha. afterwhich, went to meet my mummy, cousin and aunty for my birthday dinner. then home sweet home. very shag already.

monday once more! i forsee a busy week ahead..blah. but it will be a great week, cos my birthday's coming (yipee!), we're going for a trip (double yipee!), and we're on leave for 2 days next week (triple yipeess!!!)!

oh..and my fantastic boyfriend kinda got a promotion at work. :) make that quadruple yipee!!!!!!!!!! hahas.

just painted my nails to a dark shade of purple..very nice! lol. while waiting for it to dry, i shall blog a little.

it seems like august simply zoomed past..it's been a busy and packed month. very quickly, the end of august arrived, and baby's birthday is here! followed by mine hehe. planning for a batam trip next weekend, but have yet to book tickets. we're so super laggy..lol. just hope there will still be tics, if not we've got to fall on other plans! whatever it is, it will be a super great long weekend for us. yeah!

celebrating his birthday tomorrow. will be bringing him to a really nice (and hopefully romantic lol) dinner, followed by drinks with his friends at keppel bay. and countdown to 12 together! i'll be so super shag on sunday, cos i've got project meeting at 10am. someone kill me please. i do not want to fall sick at all, cos it's my birthday week and our relaxing weekend out! stay strong ng koon ern! which means, i better go to bed now though i've got more to blog..haha. leave it for another time!

yesterday, out of curiosity, i asked my mama if she's giving me a red packet or buying a present for me for my birthday. and she replied, "i'll get you a PSP. ok?" i was like !!!!! cos i'veNEVER expect my mummy to buy a PSP for me! haha.

apparently she got to know a supplier and she's able to get it at a cheaper price! i was very excited, and i asked, "so..what colour will you be getting for me neh?" i thought the answer will be white or pink, the reason is very obvious haha. but she said, "eh, the deep red one." i didn't understand why, so she explained, "the PSP not solely for you leh! you share with sheng ming (cos our birthdays are just so near!) and you must let him play too. how can buy pink!! deep red more suitable for him."

dot dot dot dot dot. i'm not my mummy's only love anymore..i never have to share before cos i've got no siblings, but now i have to share my present! BOOHOOHOO.

hahas. joking la. i think it's a very cool idea! cos baby and i have been thinking of getting a PSP for the longest time, but just never get down to it cos we're saving hard and didn't want to spend such money. told darling about it, and he's happy too! =D

it was my mummy's birthday on the just passed tuesday. happy belated birthday mummy! took halfday leave and brought her to kim gary for lunch. she ate suuupper little..half a french toast, 4 mini drumlets, and she's full liao! how come her daughter's so greedy neh..haha. but glad she enjoyed the lunch la..had a good chat over it too.

as mentioned, went ktv with the colleagues on friday. as there were only the 4 of us, everybody sang until shiok. i think i'm like quite weak though..i actually got out of breath when singing the fast songs! damn, time to exercise..lol.

yesterday was a super relaxed day spent with the boyfriend. he came over to my place for lunch, caught the germany vs japan men semifinals. very intensive game! eventually, germany won. impressive, i can never, ever play table tennis cos my reflexes are too slow..haha. am watching the singapore vs china women finals now..look kinda one-sided hor? lol. went over to vivo after that. i wanted to go underwear shopping! haha. was so attracted by the topshop undies..some are so cute and the others pretty..but a tad bit ex. went over to la senza and it's cheaper but with limited designs, at least the material's very comfy!

had a heart-to-heart chat over some drinks and cake at starbucks. i love heart-to-heart chats! although they get me thinking abit too much sometimes and dearie hates it when i do so haha. but they do allow me to step even closer to baby's heart. i realised how different we are in terms of dreams and aspirations, but hey..so long as we're always in each other's hearts and loving one another, regardless of what differences, we can work it out together. :)

caught money 2. pretty touching show..evoked some thoughts in me. quite cock and funny at some parts too..haha. after that, it was back home to get some good rest for the coming week.

it's exactly 2 weeks to baby's birthday, exactly 2 weeks and 4 days to my birthday! yipee!! celebration time! but..but..i really dun want to turn 24. lol. hitting mid-twenties in another year. that..dun sound nice. =p

i teared a little..but i made sure he didn't see it cos he will laugh at me! haha. the sentence is so short yet sincere, so simple yet sweet.

i've been feeling a teeny bit emo, so glad that there is him around. what will i be without you? :)

just got home not long ago from some kick-ass ktv session with 3 other colleagues..crazily fun. it was a night of the "stars"! lol..insider joke. =p

feeling very happy. had a good singing session and that was something i've been craving for the longest time, tomorrow's saturday (say yeah!!), and darling shared some good good news with me! hehe. can't reveal what it is yet, cos he says not to broadcast it first before everything's 100% confirmed-signed-guaranteed-chop..lol. so..shhh. if it really happens, it's a big big step for our future. :) so, i'm naturally happy about it!

however, i'm like having a very heaty body now. i've got 3 ulcers in my mouth, my lips are soo red and cracking like mad, i've got lots of bloody pimples on my forehead! bleah. signs of not resting enough and not drinking enough water.

which means, i may be falling sick again. which also means, i better go and sleep now! lol. peace out.

tada! me is at home now, on MC once more after 1 and 1/2 months. such a short period and my little body decided to give way again. boo. weakling me.

the past week was kinda hectic and not too smooth thanks to the brat here who kept throwing her tantrum lol. mummy went genting, and hence baby kept me company for the whole weekend! yipee!! it was our yearly routine to catch the fireworks together on national day, and this year was not any different.

things didn't go too well for the 1st half of the day. wanted to book tickets at marina square after the fireworks, but there was something wrong with the GV website and we just couldn't get through. so, we decided to go down to marina itself to purchase the tickets. after parking the car, the journey over was HORRIBLE. there were road blocks everywhere, we kept making detours, the crowd was terrible. we parked at adelphi, it took us an hour to reach marina on foot. can you imagine?! so naturally, our mood were not too good la haha.

finally, manage to buy the tickets. then we went in search for a nice location to view the fireworks. walk and walk again. both of us are very spoilt in this aspect and we don't like to walk in crowded places haha..so, my mood was effing lousy. surprisingly, dearie was so cool and still tried to cheer me up! lol. managed to find this not bad spot, and it started drizzling heavily. bleah. but luckily, the aunty koonern always keeps an umbrella in her bag lol. so far, things didn't sound too good huh?

but still, we managed to capture some good shots and enjoyed each other company throughout. and we were super thrilled with our location, cos the fireworks literally burst right in front of us! whee!! that 5 minutes of europia made the 1 hour of standing all worth it! =D

the next morning, i was dreaming of some scary stuffs and i suddenly shouted out loud. it shocked darling and i woke myself up too. after that, i was feeling so dumb that i kept giggling and we just couldn't go back to sleep anymore..haha. it was bright and sunny when we went to the prata stall for brekkie, but it was pouring and windy when we were going back. the rain was sooo freaking big, both of us got super wet even with the umbrella. (i believe i got sick cos of this!) washed up and went over to his place. wanted to spend more time with him, but i ended up sleeping the whole afternoon away cos i was already feeling feverish. bleah. what a pig.

nonetheless, it had been a weekend nicely spent, except for the falling sick part. thank you baby, for accompanying me and giving up your bed lol..for taking care of me and for tolerating my nonsensical tantrums. i love you so very much. muacks. :)

thinking about the happy weekend, i feel slightly better already! lol. going to take a nap liao. byebye!

held an early celebration for my mummy's coming birthday yesterday. was planning to dine out, but due to the number of people coming, i decided to make it a home event instead!

invited some of my cousins and aunties. darling was in charge of the yummylicious durian cake from jalan kayu, i was in charge of ordering pizza and sushi. mummy made some very sour but nice lime juice. all in all, it was great! but i was kinda worried that everyone had not enough to eat..we're all kinda big eaters despite our sizes! lol. played some mahjong which mummy had wanted to since a loong time ago..she's always asking, "when will you ask people to come and play mahjong neh?" haha. so yesterday, i hope that she's glad to play though it's only one game!

borrowed a SLR and 2 lenses from work for the weekend..and all i can say is, after having work for 1 year plus, i still cannot get the grasp of handling the SLR. apperture, ISO, shutter speed, focal length, depth of field..and blah blah blah. never ending list. like, whatever. haha. so, the pictures i took are like blur 20% of the time lol. luckily the important pictures that i wanna develop are all sharp. :) conclusion : i am not a SLR pro pro camera woman! hahaha. dearie and i prefer a powerful digital powershot camera anytime. but nevertheless, it was fun to clown away with a pro-looking camera! act pro buey pro..wahaha.

on a bad note, baby's iphone broke down. oh man..he's like totally sian diao. hope my IT savvy colleague can help to solve the problem. if not.......i'll just have to spend more money to get him something nice on his birthday! hehe.
